For my daughters 5th birthday, I gifted her her very own, highly coveted digital camera. Not just any digital cam, but one that also goes underwater. Which meant she could be as rough with it as she wanted and I was free of worry. That camera dropped countless times at the San Diego Zoo, took way too many 5 year-0ld selfies, went underwater at La Jolla Beach, and documented each fleeting, precious moment. It was so neat to pop that memory card in the computer when we got home and see what Adilene deemed photo-worthy. Highly recommend this little camera for your wee-ones, as its super durable and really user friendly, and good starter camera. Let's see if she follows in her photog-mamas foot steps!

I think my most favorite images are those silent little moments of her dancing toes underwater in the glorious sea salt pool at the Torrey Pines hotel.
